Duolink SpeakerBuds reached 4 times KS goal, launching Official Distribution Channel

Our SpeakerBuds’ crowdfunding journey has come to an end. As a brand-new product, and an innovative new category in the audio hardware market, Duolink SpeakerBuds accomplished our funding goal in just 11 hours after launch and eventually reached a 400% total – soaring past our KS goal 4 times over.

From Day One of our crowdfunding campaign, our SpeakerBuds were attracting the attention and acknowledge of media and influencers, and consumers from over 60 countries.

Ever since it was born, Duolink SpeakerBuds was destined to be unique by offering the first-ever hybrid of Bluetooth speaker and wireless earbuds. On our launch date of 31st July, Duolink SpeakerBuds accomplished our initial crowding goal in only 11 hours.

Right after the launch, UK consumer tech review program The Gadget Show on Channel 5, which has more than 3 million viewers every week, presented a dedicated unboxing of Duolink SpeakerBuds on the show and presenter Georgie Barrat commented: “This is really a good application because often I watch stuff on an iPad when I am travelling and this is basically a travel case.”



Major YouTube influencer Unbox Therapy, who has over 17.1 million subscribers, reviewed it one week after launch, marveled at its innovation on his channel and titled his video “You have never seen wireless earbuds do this”.

In total, Duolink SpeakerBuds’ achieved $223,580 in funding, with over 250,000 users visiting Duolink’s page and 235,000 monthly active users. During the crowdfunding, Duolink SpeakBuds drew the attention of, and started a discussion amongst, young people around how it has filled a niche in the market where people crave an even better music experience than before, with less gadgets.

 

Next For Duolink Go
Following the success on Kickstarter, Duolink Go is ready to launch an official distribution channel on its own website on 7th October for the price of $149. Meanwhile, Duolink Go is entering the Japanese market by launching on Green Funding on 24th September, while at the same time exploring partnerships with local interior stores, appliance stores and e-commerce platforms.

In the following months, Duolink Go will keep its momentum going by expanding towards the US offline market through collaborating with local distributors.
